As for performances (I mean voice-overs), Saif Ali Khan brought across the perfect 'cool attitude' of a pampered dog. On the other hand, Kareena's voice imparted the right elegance and sensuousness to Laila. Other voice-overs were also impressive. However, one voice that stood tallest amidst the rest was that of our very own JJ (Javed Jaffery). The Tamilian don portrayed by him was par excellence. Whether you are kid, college-goer or retired, 'Roadside Romeo' will definitely leave you impressed.

Romeo, even if a 'Roadside' one, definitely managed to win our heart. After a very long time, Indian audience has been introduced to an animation movie that can be watched by adults and kids alike. 'Roadside Romeo' is a thoroughly entertaining film that has taken the animation standard in India to 'world-class' levels. First of all, Jugal Hansraj deserves applause for writing such a fun-filled screenplay as well as for executing the script beautifully.
The dialogues written by Jugal are simply superb and keep you smiling throughout the movie. With the exception of few scenes in the first half, which take a boring turn, watching 'Roadside Romeo' is a pleasurable affair through and through. While the music is good, the dance sequences given to animated characters are something else. Here, special mention needs to be given to the rooftop number between Romeo and Laila.
