Shekhar Kapur’s much delayed and ‘said to be jinxed’ project finally seems to be near to commencement. Yes, you guessed it right. We are talking about Time Machine. The director, credited with excellent movies like Mr. India, Joshilay, and Bandit Queen, is all set to start this project soon. There is a surprise too. Aamir Khan has been replaced from the lead role and if reports are to be believed, the movie will now star Ranbir Kapoor as the protagonist.
After Saawariya, this will be another ‘big banner’ project to be undertaken by Ranbir. The other members of the cast were to include Naseeruddin Shah, Rekha and Raveena Tandon. Changes are anticipated in this too, since Shekhar will require a younger actress opposite the new heartthrob. The project is being branded by people as ‘jinxed’, especially since Ram Gopal Verma’s movie, with the same name’, failed to take off. We surely hope Shekhar meets success this time.
