In keeping with the rest of the world, the company has launched its latest mobile phone, 8800 Sapphire Arte in the country. As per the company officials, the handset has been designed keeping in view the twin needs of cutting edge technology and elegance. Nature has been the major inspiration behind the design of Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte and it promises to offer the customers ‘timeless beauty’.
The cell phone will come equipped with a 3.2 megapixel auto focus camera that boasts of 8x digital zoom. As far as the design go, it has a striking 2.0-inch OLED display, with up to 16 million colors, which promises to deliver 240×320 pixels. The mobile phone has been embedded with an internal storage capacity of 1 GB and also has 3G capabilities. To make sure that you do not end up putting smudges on 8800 Sapphire Arte, Nokia has equipped it with anti-fingerprint coating.
The cell phone also has Ambient light sensor that enables it to adjust screen brightness automatically. If that wasn’t enough, the phone even has an all-in-one microUSB connector. Everything about Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte exudes suaveness and class. It has been housed in a polished steel case, with a genuine sapphire gemstone and an accent of soft brown Napa leather. To add to the uniqueness of the phone, Nokia has enabled it with tap-for-time and turn-to-mute features. Using the first feature, the user can double tap on the steel surface below to display an analogue clock. With the second, he/she can put the incoming call on silent mode just by turning the phone over, screen-side down. To enhance the music features of the phone, it has been provided with a unique and exclusive soundtrack composed by Kruder & Dorfmeister, internationally-acclaimed master producers, with visuals by Fritz Fitzke.
