One of India’s leading automobile industry player, Mahindra & Mahindra has unveiled a new ‘Avatar’ under its lifestyle segment of utility vehicles. The new SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle), Scorpio Getaway is relatively a new concept in the Indian automobile industry. It inherits its DNA from the popular ‘Scorpio’ platform of Mahindra Motors up to a large extent.

 

Boasting of its unique ‘Pick- up truck’ design, this SUV is meant for the adventure junkie youth of the 21^st century. Scorpio Getaway is launched in the 2 WD and 4 WD versions, aptly priced at 6.99 lacs and 7.99 lacs respectively. It is available in four attractive colors, Mist Silver, Rocky Beige, Turf Green and Fiery Black.

 

Exteriors 

The exteriors of Scorpio’s new avatar have been carefully designed for imparting sporty looks and off-road capabilities to it. The outer looks are enhanced by features like sporty decal, air extractor, bonnet scoop, front fog lamps and full wheel caps.  

 

Interiors and Comfort 

India’s maiden lifestyle SUV is as captivating from inside as it’s sporty and rugged from outside. Each and every aspect of comfort and visual appeal has been looked upon aptly. This 5 Seater SUV have all fabric seats with fire resistant upholstery. Other features include individual armrests on 1^st row seats, tiltable steering, power steering, power windows and central locking. The two tone interiors of the utility vehicle along with the poly coated grand deck gives it a plush look. To make the driving experience enjoyable, it is fitted with swivel interior lamps with theater style illumination and “Follow Me Home” headlamps.

 

M&M has not compromised on the safety aspect of the vehicle as well. The globally certified safety features include crash protecting crumple zones, child lock, collapsible steering and side intrusion beams. Also, the tubeless tires, voice assist system and remote locking / unlocking of the vehicle are the additional safety features.
