There is good news for gamblers around the world! Goa, the scenic state of India, would soon be reined by a Maharajah. No, nobody is overruling the state’s democracy but its other tourist attractions will definitely be swayed by this bigger surprise. Maharajah, an offshore casino with ‘no-limits’ tables, is coming up in Goa, in April 2008. Operated by Creative Gaming Solution, the regal casino would be on a specially made 70-metre long Panamanian vessel, which has priced a whopping sum of $25 million.
Maharajah Casino, in advance, has been claimed as the biggest offshore casino by its operating authorities. Its royal ambience will give perfect reasons to professional as well as amateur gamblers to try their fortune at the jackpot. Initially, it will operate from 6 pm to 6 am and will soon start 24*7 services. The casino will comprise 35 tables in an area of 22,000 sq. ft. over four decks. Each and every globally popular casino game, such as, American Roulette, Black Jack, and variants of Poker etc, will be offered to the clientele.
Here all the tables will have a ‘no-limits’ betting system and the vessel will have a cash coffer of $1 million aboard. The lavish ship, crafted with imported fire-proof interiors, will also have a multi-cuisine restaurant, a bar, a barbecue area, a sundeck and a range of entertainment programs. The entrance charges to this luxurious vessel will be decided as per the seasonal tourism variations in Goa. By end of March, Maharajah Casio will sail to its destination from the Victoria Docks (Mumbai) and will start operations in mid-April.
