The new Bridal Collection by the Swiss watchmaker Longines has been very recently launched in India. Commemorating their 175th anniversary, the watchmaker showcased three exquisite limited edition watches. The newly married and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was called to launch the watches and she did that with perfect elegance, style and panache. The watches have been priced above Rs. 1 lakh.
Aishwarya Rai wore a soothing turquoise blue lehenga, courtesy Tarun Tahiliani that made her look like the perfect bride. As she walked down the ramp, her wrist shone with the sparkle of the diamonds embedded in the watch she was wearing. The watch has 175 pieces of diamonds that are beautifully embedded to give it a royal and elegant look. There are just 175 pieces of this limited edition watch. The watches have been designed beautifully giving them a classic as well as contemporary look, just perfect to suit the elegance of the modern-day woman.
The bridal watches had three collections. Each collection had its own uniqueness and style. The DolceVita stood for elegance of today, the BelleArti portrayed eternal feminism and grace while La Grande Classique de Longines depicted an enduring tradition in the contemporary times. The watches have been styled very elegantly and give a new meaning to the adage, “Elegance is an Attitude”.
