The slim and tiny phone packs a full QWERTY keyboard, GPS navigation, 2.0-megapixel digital camera, MP3 digital music player and video player within itself. Along with impressive features, the cell phone also boasts of outstanding design, which has already resulted in LG Lotus receiving the prestigious 'Red Dot Design Award'.
Design
The most appealing as well as the most attractive feature of LG Lotus is its design. The square-shaped mobile phone measures 3.3 inches wide by 2.4 inches tall by 0.7 inch thick. Combine the dimensions with the weight of around 3.7 ounces and you have one of the most compact phones in the market. As for the colors of the phone, satin black and textured purple are at your service. The black version is plain, while the purple version, mainly targeted at the female audience, has embossed flowers and flourishes on the front surface.
On the outside, the display of LG Lotus measures 2.1 inches diagonally and supports up to 65,000 colors. As you open the flap, you come across a full QWERTY keyboard, along with an internal display that measures about 2.4 inches diagonally and supports up to 262,000 colors. Going back to the QWERTY keyboard, it boasts of raised keys, a boon for those who like to thumb-type messages throughout the day. LG Lotus offers a customizable user interface, with the help of which you will be able to organize up to eight shortcut tiles on the landing screen. The EV-DO support of the phone will let you access Sprint's broadband and entertainment services, such as Sprint TV and Sprint Music Store, apart from a host of other streaming applications, like Sprint Radio. Then, there is the 2-megapixel camera, for clicking all the special moments of your life and capturing them forever. The camcorder feature of the mobile phone makes it all the more useful!
