Leiber, the famous American luxury accessories brand is planning to open up its first store in India. This firm is known for its luxurious handcrafted ‘Minaudieres’, which are basically small, jeweled clutch purses for women. The brand shall launch itself under the brand name Judith Leiber at the DLF’s Emporio Mall in Vasant Kunj in Delhi. This shall take place somewhere in the year 2008.
Leiber took this initiative as a part of its global expansion plans. The brand now also sells high-end designer sunglasses, perfume and jewelry. However, the brand is known for its signature collection of minaudieres and the range has a starting range of around $3000. The prices tend to escalate with limited edition pieces. With this brand in India, those who love to splurge on glitzy accessories are sure to be regular customers.
