Material Required
- Worsted-weight yarn
- Size G crochet hook
- Yarn needle, with big eye
- Small scissors
Instructions
- Hold the crochet hook in right hand and make a slip knot on hook.
- Bring the yarn over the hook, from back to front, and grab it by the hook.
- Pull the hooked yarn through the slip knot, on to the hook. This will make one chain stitch.
- Repeat the above two steps in sequence 28 times. This will give you 29 chain stitches, with one loop on the hook.
- Skip the first chain stitch and insert hook into the center of next chain stitch.
- Pull the yarn through the chain stitch, on to the hook. There will be now 2 loops on hook.
- Bring the yarn over the hook from back to front and pull it through both the loops on the hook. Now, only one loop will remain on the hook,
- This completes one crochet stitch.
