The only reason we have given one star to 'Kisse Pyar Karoon' is because giving zero is not allowed. There hasn't been such a pathetic movie on-screen since quite a long time. To think of it, the three friends shown in 'Kisse Pyar Karoon' have been characterized in a way to remind us of 'Akash, Sam and Sid' in 'Dil Chahta Hai'. And believe us; no other movie could have done worse than this, in the regard. The dialogues are way too vulgar and suggestive in places, with some being downright derogatory to women. The combined pelvic thrusts, which the three friends use as a way of celebration, are crude and offensive.
Coming to the technical aspects of 'Kisse Pyar Karoon', the background score as well as the sound mixing is too loud and, at times, hurts the ears. The pace of the film is so slow that you feel as if you have been sitting in the theater for ages. In context of performances, Arshad Warsi is the only name that comes to mind. Still, we cannot help but wonder why he signed the film in the first place. The acting of Yash Tonk is too immature, while Ashish Choudhry is looking unkempt and messy. In short, the film is not even worth the rent of DVD, forget about the 150 bucks you will need to spend in a multiplex.
Kisse Pyar Karoon Pre-release Review
One of the last film releases in the month of love is "Kisse Pyar Karoon", which is all set to grace the silver screens across India on 27th February, 2009. Directed by Ajay Chandok, the comedy flick will is presented by Sidhesh Films and released under the banner of K Sera Sera. Praveen Bharadwaj has provided the lyrics for the songs composed by Daboo Malik. The star cast of "Kisse Pyar Karoon" consists of Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chaudhary, Yash Tonk, Udita Goswami, Aarti Chabria, Shweta Menon, Shakti Kapoor and Ashish Vidyarthi.The story of "Kisse Pyar Karoon" revolves around the life of three friends - Sidh (Arshad Warsi), John (Aashish Chowdhry) and Amit (Yash Tonk). While they enjoy their lives with a lot of fun and adventure, destiny introduces some twists and turns. They encounter Sheetal (Udita Goswami), who intends to confiscate all the wealth of John. She woos John and eventually, he falls for her. In the process, Sheetal fabricates problems between the three friends, in an attempt to drift them apart. Sidh and Amit realize her game and take on to spoil all the plans, which she has formulated to usurp John's wealth.
To save John from Sheetal, Sidh and Amit set out on a plan named "Save John Operation". The attempts made by Sidh and Amit, to rescue John from the grip of Sheetal, unfold their weaknesses. The narrative picks up the pace, as Sheetal hits back with full resentment. While the two friends on one side and Sheetal on the other side, carry on with their battle against each other, Aarti Chabria, Shweta Menon, Shakti Kapoor and Aashish Vidyarthi join in to add more fun to their journey of life. "Kisse Pyar Karoon" promises to entertain the audience from the beginning till the end.
