Priced at a little less than
Rs. 2 lakh and equipped with stunning looks and features, one look at the Kinetic Comet will make you forgot the price tag in a snap! With extremely rugged looks, resembling the Ducati Monster, the Comet
250cc has the looks of a superbike. This sleek bike has an angular body design, much attention to minute details and very smart paint quality. There is a lockable storage space under the rear seat and nubbins in the under-seat rails and rear panels in order to tie anything that is left out. The Comet 250 is available in three different colors:
Red, Black and Yellow.
Engineering
The Comet has an air-cooled four-stroke engine that is equipped with an oil-cooler. The V-twin bike has a powerhouse of 249cc that exhibits excellent engineering. The bike offers a butter smooth drive on the Indian roads even at as low as 2000 rpm and remains vibration free even at 10,500 rpm! The five-speed gear box is quite smooth, though may feel a bit heavy at first. The Comet250 has an impressive acceleration and can go from 0 to 60km/h in a mere 3.69 seconds and what impresses even more is that fact that this bike has the capacity to make all distances look small. In fact, it is the best bet for you if you have drive intercity.
The frame of the bike is not aluminum, but silver painted steel. The bike offers a comfortable posture to the biker that looks awesomely sporty. Though maneuvering this bike in the Indian traffic may prove a Herculean task to many, take this beast on the highway to feel the sheer power and the throttle. You can’t help feeling royal and pampered with this mean machine soaring through the wind with you on it. The braking is apt and effective with the 300mm disc brakes in the front. So all those who are cribbing that it is outrageously priced, go for a test drive and you will find all your doubts melting away!
