Jugaad MovieJugaad is a good entertaining film if you wish to watch something different from typical Bollywood love stories. The movie has dealt with the serious issue of sealing in Delhi in a humorous manner and has aptly portrayed the "never dying" spirit of Delhiites. Anand Kumar has certainly enhanced his directorial skills after his flop debut Delhi Heights (2007) and has done a nice job with this comedy film. Like his earlier movie, Jugaad is based in Delhi and is shot mostly in Delhi and Gurgaon.

With great direction, Anand has tried to reveal the factual situation which prevailed in Delhi when MCD’s sealing drive was in progress. The dialogues are really amusing at times and in fact, the narration technique is also up-to-the-mark. Besides every other aspect, music is the only weaker segment of the film. Manoj Bajpai, probably making his debut in comic role, has done a nice job and showcased a different side of his acting talent. Hrishita Bhatt, who is playing the leading lady, didn’t have much to do but she managed to look nice however.

Vijay Raaz made everyone laugh with his frolics and Sanjay Mishra — another actor — is just entertaining in the movie. Nonetheless Jugaad is a clean entertainer and one of the unusual satirical comedies made in Bollywood. Jugaad is undeniably a better choice rather than watching those tedious comedies, which are regularly hitting the multiplexes in recent times.

Jugaad Pre-release Review
Jugaad is all set to grace the silver screens across India on February 13, 2009. Directed by Anand Kumar, the movie will be released under the banner of 'Promodome Films'. Lyricists Sameer, Rohit Sharma, Mohd. Nasir and Saahiel have penned words for its songs, composed by Sachin Gupta and Krishna. The star cast of the film includes Manoj Bajpai (as the protagonist), accompanied by Hrishita Bhatt, Vijay Raaz, Govind Namdeo, Nitin Arora, Mushtaq Khan, Abhay Puniani, Sanjay Mishra and Akshat Kumar. “Jugaad” promises to give doses of situational comedy to the audience, with a tinge of thrill in the narrative.

Director of the film “Jugaad” has come up with an interesting plot, which is based on MCD’s sealing drive in Delhi. The movie tells us the story of Sandip Kapur (Manoj Bajpai), the successful CEO of an advertising agency and what he goes through when the MCD starts its sealing drive. The narrative begins by focusing on the hectic work culture of an advertising agency. Humorous situations in the workplace and witty dialogues have been added to make the audience laugh, as the film proceeds.

The narrative of “Jugaad” picks up pace when the ad agency is sealed by MCD. The CEO desperately wants to re-establish his agency. In this process, he opts for “Jugaadbaazi”, which is typical to majority of Indians across the nation. Characters like property dealers, power brokers, politicians and senior officers are then introduced in the film. Although Kapur makes use of best connections and trickery (Jugaad), he fails in his attempts to influence the officials. Eventually, he finds himself alone on the road, along with his team.

The story of “Jugaad”, filled with hilarious moments, unwinds a lifestyle that is really existing in the capital city of India. The film narrates the hero’s unforeseen struggle and the patience, with which he tries to restore his agency from scratch. It concludes by answering the questions about whether he succeeds in restoring his company and regaining the lost glory or not. The character and experiences of Sandip Kapur will be easily related to, by the people living in the fast forward generation of modern India, who opt for trickery and “Jugaad” to get work done.
