The bug of reality shows seems to have bitten all the channels, that too several times over. The latest channel to add another reality show to its kitty is Star Plus. The name of the show is 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar' and it was launched in the first week of April 2008. The aim of the show will be to pick out a popular small screen musical reality idol. There will be two teams in the show, competing against each other, named as ‘the Champions’ and ‘the Challengers’
The members of both the teams have been selected from the participants of the popular musical reality shows such as 'Star Voice of India', 'Indian Idol', 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' and 'Fame Gurukul'. Making up the Champions, will be the title winners of the various singing talent hunt shows, totaling six in number. On the other hand, the team of Challengers will include the runner-ups of the shows, who almost defeated the winners, totaling 12 in number.
'Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar' is starting from 11th April 2008 and will be aired on Star Plus every Friday and Saturday, in the 10 pm slot. The famous personalities that define the judging team of the show will include Bollywood director Farah Khan and the Music director duo Vishal and Shekhar. The show, produced by Endemol, will be hosted by Mandira Bedi. Get ready to pick up your cell phones and start voting!
