Hyundai Motor Company, the world’s 6th largest automaker, has finally unveiled the much-awaited Genesis Coupe at the 2008 New York International Auto Show. The 2010 Genesis Coupe has been purposefully designed as rear-wheel drive sport coupe, which features two performance-focused engines - a 212-horsepower (est.), 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a range-topping all-aluminum, 306-horsepower (est.), DOHC 3.8-liter V6 engine.

As reported by the company, the entry-level Genesis Coupe 2.0t brags of a unique blend of rear-wheel drive and four-cylinder turbo power, providing an alternative to the existing front-wheel drive sports coupes. The 3.8-liter version will offer a full-fledged driving experience, challenging even the potential of marvelous coupes like the Infiniti G37. The all-new sedan also has transmission alternatives of a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic. It is outfitted with a MacPherson strut dual-link front suspension and a five-link rear suspension setup to ensure better performance.
