Hyundai has launched its Free Car Check campaign. One of the largest automobile manufacturers and leading automobile exporters in India, the company has launched this initiative with the aim of providing free car care to its customers. The campaign was first launched by Hyundai in the year 2006. This time the company has increased the scale of the campaign, so that a greater number of its customers are able to take the advantage of the services and free check-up.
The Free Car Checkups last time offered the customers a comprehensive 80-point check-up. Along with that, it also included examination of the engine compartment, under-body, AC, body, interior and exterior. At the same time, the initiative offered a number of discounts to the customers on Hyundai products. This year it is expected to be the same. The car checkups will be available to the consumers from the Hyundai dealer workshops throughout the country.
Last time, the initiative was launched by the automobile manufacturer in 64 major cities and 130 locations. This year, it will be much more widespread, covering 250 cities and around 3,000 locations. As per Mr B Mani, Senior General Manager - Hyundai Motors, the organization has launched this initiative after being overwhelmed with the kind and magnitude of response received from the customers last year.
In 2008, Hyundai Motors has also roped in Insurance Company, Cholamandalam MS in the initiative. With the association, the automobile firm has tried to help customers know about insurance renewals and also reap benefits from them. The campaign launched by Hyundai is intended to strengthen the relationship with the customers and is deemed to go a long way in reinforcing the bond between the two.
