  • Cheesecloth
  • Scissors
  • 2-3 cups Dried Herbs
  • Enamel Cooking Pots
  • A Small Piece Of String

  • First of all, you will need to get a pair of scissors and use it to cut the cheesecloth into a square measuring, 10-by-10-inch or larger.
  • Now, you will have to gather the dried herbs and place them on the cheesecloth square, spread on a flat surface.
  • Make use of a string to tie the cheesecloth. While you do not need to tie the cheesecloth too tight, it should not so loose also that it allows the herbs to escape.
  • It is now the time to place the bag of herbs in an enamel cooking pot. Fill the pot with water, enough to keep the herb-bag submerged.
  • Place the enamel pot on flame and let the water come to boil. Now, remove it from heat and set aside.
