All you need to do to make homemade face paint is just mix these and store in some food jars or some other safe place. You can then use it for some kids’ party or any such fun event. To learn how to make homemade face paint, read on.
 
Recipe No.1
You will need the following items:
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon cream
  • ½ teaspoon water
  • Food coloring; preferably, use a variety of colors
Steps
  • Mix cornstarch and cream together, until they blend well.
  • Add water and stir nicely.
  • Add a little food coloring to get the desired color. 
Recipe No.2
You will need the following items:
  • 3 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • ¾ cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ teaspoon liquid food coloring
 
Steps
  • Start by mixing cornstarch and the flour together in a bowl.
  • Then, mix the corn syrup and water in it, until the whole mixture becomes smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into individual containers as required and then add food coloring, as you like.
 
Recipe No.3
You will need the following items:
  • 5 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • A little Vaseline
  • Food coloring
 
Steps
  • Blend all the above items nicely on a paper plate.
  • Add food coloring judiciously to get various colors.
 
Recipe No.5
You will need the following items:
  • Corn syrup
  • Red and blue food coloring
  • Milk
 
Steps
  • Add some red food coloring to the corn syrup
  • Next, add a drop or two of blue color to get more realistic dark color.
  • Finally, add milk which will make the color appear opaque and realistic. 
Tips
  • Remember, face paint generally works best when a child's face is clean.
  • Always apply the paint in layers and with the help of regular paintbrushes.
  • Let the first layer of paint dry before you apply the second layer.
  • Always, wash your hands between colors.
