Good Luck, the latest movie of Aryaman and Sayali Bhagat, has hit the theaters and.....it looks like the film is going to have bad, not good luck. An outrageous copy of Lindsay Lohan’s movie ‘Just My Luck’, Good Luckthe film fails to do well even with an ‘inspired’ (what copies are usually called) script. One of the major flaws with ‘Good Luck’ is the bad performances by its lead actors. Neither Aryaman, not Sayali Bhagat managed to give good performance.

Aryaman carries the same sullen and lost look throughout the movie, I don’t know how. Still he is better than Sayali Bhagat, though strictly in terms of comparison. Coming back to the script, some of the scenes, like the ones involving girls kissing girls and boys kissing boys, were slightly amusing. However, they were stretch beyond limit and finally, ended up making you feel tired, not pleased.

Talking about the other performers in the movie, Lucky Ali did a good job. Ranvir Shorey, as usual, managed to entertain the audience in his scenes, especially the ones with Sharat Saxena. Archana Puran Singh also gave a good performance, while Mushtaq Khan, as Lucky Ali’s secretary, was quite amusing. However, even these good performances failed to make up for the disastrous acting of Aryaman and Sayali.

Good Luck Pre-release Review

The year 2008 seems to have been made for light, comedy flicks. The latest movie to be released under the combined comedy-romance genre is ‘Good Luck’. The movie has been directed by Aditya Datt, while it’s produced by Jagdish Sharma. Good Luck will be released under the banner of Om Films and J. K. Films, on 11th July 2008. Anu Malik is its music director, while Sameer has provided the lyrics. The star cast of the film includes Aryeman, Sayali Bhagat, Ranvir Shorey, Lucky Ali, Archana Puran Singh, Mushtaq Khan and Nazneen.

Good Luck revolves around the life of Vicky (Aryeman), an aspiring singer, and Saba (Sayali Bhagat), the PR head in an ad agency. As far as luck is concerned, both of them stand at the opposite ends of the stick. He has never ever tasted success, while she has never ever been bogged down by failure. One day, Saba meets Vicky at a party and from that day onwards, life changes for both of them completely. It seems as if the luck of Saba has somehow rubbed on Vicky and she, in turn, has got his bad luck.

Vicky meets Tarun Chopra (Lucky Ali), who signs him for his next music album, finally making his dreams come true. On the other hand, Saba ends up losing her job and literally, is on the streets. One fine day, she meets a tarot card reader (Archana Puran Singh), who tells Saba that her good luck charm was sealed in her kiss. As Saba had kissed Vicky in the party, her luck had gone away with him. Now, she will get her good luck charm back only when she kisses Vicky again. The problem here is that Vicky was wearing a mask at the party.

She didn’t see his face and now, finding him seems to be an impossible task. Still, she begins searching for the guy she kissed at the party. During this time, she meets Vicky and falls in love with him, without knowing that he is the guy she is looking for. One day, she gets to know the truth and selfishly, kisses him, taking back the good luck. Now, Vicky’s life is again back to square one, where he starts struggling to get success. However, love overpowers selfishness and Saba decides to kiss him once again.

Now, there is one more catch. Though Saba wants Vicky to have her luck and make a success out of his grand concert, there are other contenders as well. A police officer (Sharad Saxena), a gigolo (Ranveer Shorey), Saba's merciless boss (Nazeen Patel) and even the Tarot card reader, all try to steal the good luck kiss from Saba. In the process, they land up kissing each other. What will happen to Vicky’s concert? Will Saba be able to give him her good luck? What will happen to the other contenders? The wait for answers is about to end.
