Fujifilm has launched its new digital camera in the market, by the name of Finepix S5800. The successor to Fujifilm Finepix S5700, it is the latest one in a series of low-cost, super-zoom cameras released by Fujifilm, starting from the year 2003. An 8-megapixel digital camera, Fujifilm Finepix S5800 will be available with a 10x zoom lens. One of the best features of this digital camera is that super zoom has not been loaded with too many features. This makes it easier for the consumer to make use of the zoom function.
Design
As far as the design goes, the new Fujifilm Finepix S5800 digital camera promises to be chic and suave. With the dimensions of 4.2 x 3.0 x3.2 inches, without the attachments, the camera comes across as pretty compact. Along with that, it weighs hardly 307 g/10.8 oz (without accessories, batteries and memory card), making it quite handy and easy to carry around. Fujifilm Finepix S5800 comes equipped with a bright, 2.5”, 230K LCD, which boasts of a refresh rate of 60 frames per second. On the other hand, the Wide View filter of the digicam allows users to view the LCD at oblique angles.
Features
Coming down to the features of Fujifilm Finepix S5800, they are quite similar to that of its predecessor i.e. Finepix S5700. The only extra additions that have been made include increased sensor resolution of 8.0 megapixels and enhanced digital zoom factor of 10x. SLR-like handling and a full range of manual exposure functions are amongst the other features of the digital camera, set to woo the consumers. It provides sensitivity ranges from ISO64 to ISO 1600, along with Fujifilm’s Intelligent Flash system.
Fujifilm Finepix S5800 comes equipped with selective scene positions, with pre-set shutter speed, aperture and white balance settings. In other words, you can now let your camera do all the hard work. However, in case you want advanced creativity, you can make use of Manual setting. The digital camera also features an xD/SD compatible slot for both xD-picture card, Secure Digital (SD) card, and SDHC (High Capacity) card. Then, there is the Picture Stabilization mode that prevents pictures from getting blurred, from shake and/or fast-moving subjects
