The latest variant in the Ford Fusion range, Fusion Plus was recently introduced in the market by Ford India. Fusion Plus is available in 1.6 litre petrol and 1.4 litre diesel versions priced at Rs 6,16,500 and Rs 6,83,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. The users are being promised superb value for money invested. An MP3 with 4 speakers is the introductory offer Ford India has announced on Fusion Plus during the month of March.
The company spokesperson has said that Fusion Plus has been designed in response to consumer feedback. As such, the car proffers adequate headroom, legroom and shoulder room. Ford’s Fusion Plus also comes with a height-adjustable driver's seat as well as power adaptable outside rearview mirrors. In tow with other features in Fusion Plus, is an all-new anti-lock braking system (ABS). It provides greater control to the driver during emergency braking.
There are more features and styling enhancements the new Fusion Plus will sport. These include 15-inch alloy wheels, body colored outside rear view mirrors, body-color bumpers, door handles, side moulding and deck lid. The final prominent touch to the all eye-catching Fusion Plus car will be a Fusion+ badge. The Ford India Company made it known that it has transferred the latest cut in excise duty for the advantage of the consumer.
The 1.6 Duratec petrol engine of the Fusion Plus delivers 101PS at 6500rpm and 146Nm of torque at 3400rpm. Buyers can also have the new Fusion Plus with aluminum alloy 1.4L Duratorq TDCi engine providing 68PS at 4000rpm. It is learnt that this turbo-diesel engine does no compromise in proffering cheap fuel consumption and a healthy torque curve.
