Fiat Fiorino

Touted as the “Free Space” vehicle and also “alternative car with personality”, the Fiat Fiorino is all set to be unveiled at the 2008 Geneva Auto Show. This ergonomically designed car can compete in several market segments which include the city delivery vehicles used in small businesses in European cities. Another popular category would be the steadily growing Compact Utility Vehicles, which is a very competitive category with cars like Renault Kangoo vying for the top slot.

The Fiat Fiorino is an extremely compact yet useful car. It measures a mere 10 inches longer than the Mini, yet provides six different seating arrangements. This car provides extremely good maneuverability and one can drive easily even through congested traffic conditions. The car offers plenty of room for storing cargo or just stretching your legs and sitting comfortably. The car is available in either a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic gear transmission.

The car adheres to the latest Euro 4 emission norms and the brilliantly designed engine gives you a great driving experience, excellent mileage, reduced emissions and running cost. The Fiorino is equipped with Common Rail direct injection diesel engine, which gives a maximum power of 55 kW at 4000 rpm and guarantees the best performance and fuel consumption. The top speed notched up by Fiorino is around 155km/h and it can go from 0 to 50 km/h in flat 7 seconds.
