All those who till now went abroad for getting Lanvin clothes can now stop hopping on to the international flights. Lanvin, one of the oldest fashion houses in the world, has announced it plans to enter the Indian market. The fashion house will make its foray into the country, in partnership with TSG International Marketing Private Limited. Not only this, it has all the plans of expanding its presence in the Indian market in the next couple of years.
Lanvin is presently under the ownership of Harmonie S.A, a private investor group. It currently has points of sales in a number of Asian countries, namely China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE and Jordan. Apart from that, the fashion house also has a major presence in the countries like Morocco, Spain, Turkey, the UK, France, Monaco, Switzerland and Russia.
According to sources, TSG International has made plans to have five points of sale for Lanvin in India, over the period of next five years. In the current year (2008), the company will be made available in the stores in New Delhi and Bangalore. So, get ready to be in the league of celebrities like Demi Moore, Jennifer Lopez, Michelle Pfeiffer, Katie Holmes, Victoria Beckham, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Ritchie, Sophia Coppola, Natalie Portman and Sarah Michelle Gellar, the patrons of Lanvin.
