Procedure:
- Start crocheting by chaining two in the yarn. Then work six single crochet into the chain.
- Work the crochet in a round pattern. Mark the beginning of each round with the stitch marker.
- Start the second round by crocheting two singles. Now, there should be 12 stitches.
- Do single crochet for the next round, followed by two single crochet in the next stitch. Repeat this whole around. This will make a total of 18 stitches.
- In the next round, follow with a single crochet into the next two stitches and two single crochet into the third one. Repeat this pattern whole around. Count the number of stitches and make sure that the total is 24.
- Continue to increase the stitches until you have reached the desired size. Continue to work the crochet in round pattern, until you have achieved half the size of the crochet ball you want.
