Cardboard Tube Wall Flowers
 
Things Required
  • Cardboard Tubes
  • Acrylic Craft Paint
  • Paintbrush

  • White Craft Glue

  • Mounting Putty
Instructions
  • Using different paint colors, paint the cardboard tubes. Leave them to dry.
  • Slightly flatten the tubes with your hands and cut them into ¾ inch slices. These slices are your flower petals.
  • Place the flower petals on a working surface and arrange them into flower shapes. Make them pointed by slightly pinching the ends or rounding them with your fingers. For a unique design, square them off.
  • Position them and glue the petals together.
  • Secure the glues petals with paper clips. Allow them to dry completely.
  • Remove the paper clips and apply putty on their back.
  • Press the flowers onto the wall or windows and your wall flowers are ready to be exhibited.
Bottle Cap Lady Bug
 
Materials Required
  • Bottle Cap
  • Acrylic Paints (red, black and white)
  • Paint Brushes
  • Toothpick
Instructions
  • Paint the bottle cap black, using black acrylic paint. Leave it for drying.
  • Once dry, coat the cap with another layer of black paint and let it dry completely.
  • Leaving 1/5 portion from the top, paint two halves in red paint, leaving a black line in the middle of the lady bug. Keep the black color wider at the bottom.
  • Dip the end of a paint brush in black paint and dot black spots on the red wings of the lady bug.
  • Dip a toothpick into white paint and dot two eyes on the top black section to form eyes.
  • The bottle cap lady bug is ready to be adorned!
Toothbrush Bracelets
 
Materials Required
  • Old Toothbrush
  • Tweezers/Pliers
  • Pot
  • Tongs
  • Large Mug
  • Oven Gloves
Instructions
  • Using tweezers or pliers, remove all the bristles from the toothbrush.
  • Boil water in a large pot.
  • Place the toothbrush in water for five minutes, while the water is still boiling.
  • With the help of tongs, remove the toothbrush from water and bend it to the desired shape.
  • In case the toothbrush does not bend smoothly, dip the toothbrush into boiling water again.
  • Remove and bend the brush as much as possible.
  • Place the bend toothbrush at the bottom of a mug to allow it to hold its shape until cooled.
  • Pour cold water into the mug and remove the brush.
  • You are now ready to wear your new toothbrush bracelet.

  • Stack several tissue papers and fold them into multiple layers.
  • Place the can on the tissue papers and trace out a circle.

  • Glue the tissue paper circles onto the jug, using glue stick.
  • Brush Mod Podge over the circles to seal them.
