Chal Chala Chal MovieAs if the failure of 'Money Hai Toh Honey Hai' wasn't enough, Govinda came out with 'Chal Chala Chal', sure to be an even bigger flop. The movie is so out-of-date in the present times. Initially, 'Chal Chala Chal' didn't seem exceptionally bad, being able to generate occasional laughs as well. However, as the story progressed, the film went from bad to worse. There was no depth to it and the characters seemed to be moving around in circles. Almost all the jokes as well as the 'so-called' gags felt flat and didn't even make us smile.

One of the biggest disappointments of the movie was Govinda, who seemed to be totally out of form. He should realize that he has become old and start taking roles that suit his age. Rajpal Yadav, after a long time, was at his best and did manage to make us chuckle once in a while. Razzaak Khan, Asif Basra and Murli Sharma were not bad, but we surely wondered as to what was Manoj Joshi doing in the film. The music was a dud, camerawork was just about average and editing was poor. Our verdict, strictly a DVD watch!

The story of 'Chal Chala Chal' revolves around the life of a simple man - Deepak (Govinda). He has certain principles in his life, one of them being 'living honestly'. Unwilling to succumb to the corrupt system that seems to be widely prevalent, he ends up switching jobs, every now and then. His father, Omkarnathji, is the ex-principal of a private school. Not receiving his dues on leaving the school, he has been fighting a case in the court for several years, being helped in the process by Deepak. Finally, Omkarnathji wins the case and the court awards him compensation as well.

The court also rules that in case the school has no money, it can give some property to Omkarnathji, in lieu of compensation. Taking advantage of the ruling, the school authorities give a run-down bus to him. Though Deepak wants to sell the bus, he ends up using it to start a transport business, acting on his father’s advice. As Deepak starts plying the bus, it encounters more mishaps than the commuters. Corruption comes in his way once again, but his faith in his principles as well as his father’s love helps him tide over the crisis. Ready to go on a roller-coaster ride, in Deepak's bus? Wait for 6th February!
