The newly launched ‘Hindi general entertainment channel’ 9X is striving towards its mission to give a break to the Indian audience from the usual Saas-Bahu sagas. Sticking to its promise of providing fresh entertainment, the channel has announced plans of launching a reality show, which will be known as ‘Chak De Bachche’. To be telecasted on weekends, this show will be a Dance and Music Extravaganza.
As the names suggests, Chak De Bachche will aim at showcasing the young talents in the country. It will serve as a platform for them to come and let people know about their aptitude in the field of music and dance. Making the announcement, Indrani Mukerjea, Founder & CEO - INX Media Pvt. Ltd. also mentioned that the show will be for kids between 8 and 14 years of age. Chak De Bachche has been conceived and directed by Gajendrra Siingh.
The talent shows for kids, presently on-air, have mainly covered only the metros and big towns. As per Gajendrra Siingh, the man behind Saibaba Telefilms, Chak De Bachche will mainly concentrate on young talents in small cities and towns. Auditions for the show will take place in the major Indian cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Indore, Raipur, Jaipur and Varanasi. So guys, get ready to see kids bring their hidden talent to impress you.
