The extra K's in C KKompany failed to create any magic for the film. C KKompany is an average film that could have been made into a rib-tickler smash hit. Alas, the direction could not keep up the pace of the movie in the second half. The movie lacks consistency and this is why it failed to create much of an impact. While some of the scenes have you in splits, others fail to make you even smile. The first half of C KKompany is very good. However, after you come back from the interval, it seems to slow down considerably.

Though he managed to give an excellent start to the movie, he could not keep the humor alive throughout. On top of that, things also start getting repetitive as the film progresses towards the climax. However, we definitely appreciate the way C KKompany handles the concept of news reporting becoming way too commercialized and sensational and hitting an all-time low. While, the dig at Ekta Kapoor and her serials is amusing!
One thing that is definitely appreciating in C KKompany comprises of the performances of the actors. While Tusshar Kapoor is getting better day by day, Anupam Kher proves his mettle once again. Rajpal Yadav and Mithun Chakraborty could be seen in their form after a long time. Vinay Apte, Dilip Prabhavalkar and Raima Sen did complete justice to their respective roles. The special appearances by Karan Johar, Mahesh Bhatt and Ekta Kapoor brought an extra spark to the movie. All in all - C KKompany is a one-time watch!

After a long time, Rajpal Yadav and Tusshar Kapoor will be seen together on-screen. Both of them are looking forward to their next release, ‘C Kkompany’, to hit the theaters on 22nd August 2008. The film has been produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor and will be released under the banner of ‘Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd’. Sachin Yardi, who had earlier written film like ‘Kya Kool Hai Hum’ and ‘Traffic Signal’ has directed the movie. Its star cast includes Rajpal Yadav, Mithun Chakraborty, Tusshar Kapoor, Anupam Kher and Raima Sen. ‘C Kkompany’ will also see special appearances by Mahesh Bhatt, Ekta Kapoor, Karan Johar, Sanjay Dutt and Dilip Prabhavalkar. The story of ‘C Kkompany’ revolves around the life of three best friends - Akshay Kumar, Mr. Joshi and Lambodar. All of them are based in Mumbai, but belong to different age groups. Coming from a middle class background, the three friends are underdogs who are struggling to make their dreams come true. Akshay Kumar is a crime reporter, while Mr. Joshi is a retired accountant.
Mr. Joshi also has a son who is ungrateful for all that his father has done for him. He is trying to make his son see reason. With their life besieged by problems, the three friends share their problems with each other and get some respite from the harsh realities. Tired of constantly dealing with problems, one day, they decide to play a harmless prank. However, the prank does not remain a mere joke and soon, it transforms into news.
Now, the things refuse to die down there only and gradually lead to another set of events that make them famous throughout the nation. The best part is that no one knows of their identity and thus, they become mute spectators to their newly acquired fame. From the humble middle-class background, they soon reach the corridors of the parliament and end up being heroes of the entire nation. A harmless prank has taken a completely different turn and changed their life completely. What was the prank? How did it transform into something so drastic?
