For all the quiz aficionados out there, we have some good news! Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has launched its virtual quiz, named as ‘Buzz! The Maha Quiz’, in India. So, you are wondering why is it is being called a ‘Maha Quiz’! The reason is that the quiz comprises of more than 5,000 questions. On top is that, the questions have been based on a variety of topics, including celebrities, nature, sports, history, etc.
As per the officials of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, the quiz has been developed in collaboration with the famous quiz master Derek O Brien, of the Bournvita Quiz Contest fame. ‘Buzz! The Maha Quiz’ has been developed by Relentless Software and SCEE will promote the product in the Indian market. The game will give the viewers the experience, as had in a live TV show. The host of the quiz game will be ‘Buzz’, a cheesy, but comical, virtual character.
To add zing to the game, he will also have a curvy and voluptuous assistant, by the name of Rose. The game will be based in a luxurious virtual studio, where Buzz and Rose will take the contestants through a number of rounds, entertaining them with their teasers and witty remarks all the way. The players will use the bespoke handheld 'buzzer', adding to the real-life experience of the virtual quiz. Brain teasers, laughs and glamour - ‘Buzz! The Maha Quiz’ has it all!
