The long wait for the action-packed Bond movie finally seems to have come to an end. The commencement of the principal photography on the next James Bond movie has just been announced by Eon Productions' Michael G Wilson, along with Barbara Broccoli, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios. The film, which will be the 22nd one in the long series of Bond movies, is slated to be released in November 2008.
The role of Bond will be played by Daniel Craig, who made his debut as Bond in the movie Casino Royale. The villain in the movie will be none other than Mathieu Amalric, a French actor. He will be shown as a prominent member of the iniquitous organization that was first introduced in Casino Royale. Completing the cosmopolitan look of the 22nd James Bond Film will be Olga Kurylenko, a Ukrainian actress, who will play Camille - the leading lady of 007.
Her role will be as usual glamorous and sensuous. At the same time, she will provide the much required emotional support to our dashing hero. Another new entrant in the film will be Gemma Arterton, who will be seen as Fields, an MI6 agent. Marc Forster, of ‘Finding Neverland’ fame, will be directing this venture. The new Bond movie will also see Judi Dench returning to her role as M. The other comebacks of the film will be Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter and Giancarlo Giannini as Mathis.
