How To Get A Model Look

Skin Care
The basic feature of any model is his/her skin. You need to know your skin type so as to know what kind of nourishment you would need. It is always necessary to keep your skin clean and moisturized. Make it a point that you wipe off your makeup every night before you sleep. Use a moisturizer with an SPF 15 minimum during the daytime and at night, you can use any good night cream, specified for your skin type. You also need to exfoliate your skin regularly, twice or thrice a week. Apply face packs and peels twice in a week. Prefer homemade facemasks. Have at least two-three servings of fresh fruits and 3-4 servings of vegetables each day.

Body Care
Your body is your temple and this is especially true for any model. Remember the adage and treat your body likewise. A well-balanced diet with lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains can help you keep healthy. Apart from good food, you need to exercise to keep yourself fit and your body toned. You would also need to keep yourself well hydrated and for that, you need to take at least eight glasses of water every day. Good sleep also accounts for the health of the model. Avoid skipping meals and take good care of personal hygiene as well. Use a moisturizing body lotion after your bath. Avoid going in the sun without applying sunscreens with an SPF of at least 15. Do pedicure and manicure regularly.

Cosmetics
Avoid putting a lot of makeup on your face. Try to look natural as much as you can. Natural makeup gives you a fresh and young look. Always be in sync of the ‘in’ fashion. Get chic and fashionable outfits to accentuate your best features. Also, instead of splurging on whatever new comes in store, do smart shopping, mix, and match your clothes to look hip and elegant. As it might not be possible for you to run to the parlor or every little occasion, so it would be best if you have a bit of knowledge about makeup. Have a style of your own instead of copying the trends blindly. You need to have a style even when you are not gallivanting down the runway. Opt for branded cosmetics and never go OTT.

Hair Care
Keep your hair clean, shampoo it often, and then condition it with a good, suitable conditioner. A chic and stylish hairstyle will help you accentuate your looks. Depending on the kind of hair, you have, opt for trendy accessories, and always keep your hair sleek and shiny.

Mental Health
Lead a stressed free life, as your mental balance will reflect on your physical balance as well. Go for meditation or yoga to keep your mind and body fit and fine. Be happy, and always keep a smile on your face as it adds to the face value, literally.
