Aaja Nachle belongs to Madhuri! She has come back to the Bollywood after a gap of five years and Aaja Nachle makes her perfect comeback. She is looking awesome, her dance is superb and her acting skills are still excellent. Madhuri completely justifies the role of Dia, a renowned choreographer in U.S. who comes back to India to restore the Ajanta Theater, where she learnt the nuances of dance. She is there in almost every scene of the movie and still, at the end of the movie, you want to see more of her.
The performances of the other actors in the movie are also remarkable and they do complete justice to their roles. Ranbir Shorey as Mohan, a hotel owner who is in love with Dia, is quite good. Then, we have Kunal Kapoor, who plays Imran - an actor. Sushmita Mukherjee and Vinay Kapoor, as Mrs and Mr Chojar, are hilarious. Even the child artist, who plays the daughter of Dia, seems to be quite promising. But, the two exceptionally good performances in the film, apart from that of Madhuri, are by Akshaye Khanna and Konkana Sen.Akshaye Khanna breathes life into the role of a young generation MP. Konkana Sen is playing the character of Anokhi and needlessly to say, she acts it with perfection. Last but not the least is Irfaan khan, who essays the role of the businessman who conceives the idea of the demolition of Ajanta Theatre. From technical point of view, the screenplay as well as the direction is pretty good. Aaja Nachle does not lose its speed and keep the audience entertained throughout the length of the film. All in all, it’s a film worth watching in cinema hall!
Aaja Nachle Movie Pre Release Review
All Madhuri Dixit fans are waiting with bated breath for her new musical Aaja Nachle, which is all set to hit the movie screens this November. It will see the great dancing queen of Bollwood make a comeback after a last vivid stunt in Devdas in 2005. Madhuri Dixit took a sabbatical from work, during which she happily married and remained engaged in home-making.
Though flooded with various films offers, Madhuri Dixit opted to act in Aaja Nachle that’s produced by the Yash Chopra banner. Aaja Nachle or Aaja Nachley is a story about a theatre actress (played by Madhuri) who pledges to improve the society through her dancing. And for this, she travels to far-away lands to host dance shows and convey message of love and happiness. The film was put in the safe hands of cinematographer Anil Mehta, who also directed the movie. Though Madhuri Dixit remains the highlight of Aaja Nachle, there are other popular actors also in it like Kunal Kapoor, Konkana Sen Sharma and Divya Dutta playing vital characters. Ask anybody who’s seen the trailer and they will tell you how Madhuri looks as refreshingly beautiful as ever.
In order to fit into the skin of the lead character in Aaja Nachle, Madhuri Dixit is said to have worked really hard on her looks. As heard from the chitchats, Dixit worked out really passionately to shed extra kilos for this film. The star actress was even heard giving weight loss and fitness advice to her co-star Divya Dutta on the film set. Madhuri Dixit flew down all the way from Denver in the US for shooting of this film in January 2007.
