First things first! Why has the movie been named ‘Aagey Se Right’, when the protagonist keeps on taking turns in the wrong direction - one after the other - is something that I simply failed to understand. In fact, Aagey Se Rightthe movie doesn’t seem to go in the right direction at all, even once. Rather, it looks like a directionless screenplay, with chaos all around. So, a title like ‘Confusion’ would have been much better for this allegedly comic flick!

A cop has his revolver stolen on the second day of his duty and a terrorist learns tapori language to impress a girl (and she is the most innocent being on this planet, who even gets awed by his tacky pickup lines - what is this world coming to!!). Even the cop is trying to woo a girl - a TV journalist. If that wasn’t enough, from somewhere, another love track comes into the picture - between a tapori junior artiste and the police commissioner's daughter. Ugghhh!!

There is hardly any logical flow to the narrative, what with the revolver going from one person to the other and the cop being unable to catch hold of it. In fact, he even manages to save some people’s life unintentionally (and impress the TV journalist - so expected!). Somewhere in-between, you have a South India don as well, whose sentences are so accented that all the humor seems to go over your head. By the time its climax, you feel like going aagey se right, to the Exit!

There is hardly any performance in the movie that is worth appreciating. Shreyas Talpade is completed wasted, mainly because of a bad script. The same goes for Mahie Gill and Kay Kay. Vijay Maurya has taken his South Indian role too seriously and at times, is not even coherent. Neither Shruti Seth nor Shiv Pandit can be credited with a good performance. As for Shehnaz, she needs to take some acting classes first. Simply looking good won’t work.

Aagey Se Right Pre-release Review
Indrajit Nattooji is making his directorial debut with the comic flick 'Aagey Se Right'. It is produced by Ronnie Screwala and the star ensemble includes respected faces like Shreyas Talpade, Kay Kay Menon, Mahi Gill, Shehnaz Treasurywala, Vijay Maurya, and Shiv Pandit. The music of the film has been produced by the lesser known Amartya and Ram Sampath. It is being presented under the recognized banner of UTV Motion Pictures.
Aagey Se Right is a humorous story of chance and co-incidence, with the backdrop of present-day Mumbai. The film is about a cop and a terrorist. A series of bizarre events beyond their control makes the cop lose his gun and the terrorist, his heart. The two different and extremely opposite worlds collide with each other and mayhem ensues, leading to utter chaos.

The movie is a contemporary satire and an edgy commentary on the chaotic times that we are living in. It promises to be an entertaining fare, which will make you laugh no end. Will the cop get back his gun? For that matter, will the terrorist gain back his lost heart? What will happen to the panic, confusion and bedlam taking place in Mumbai? If you want to get answers to all these questions, get your movie tickets booked for the coming Friday!
