Kingfisher is all set to come out with its 2009 calendar. The new 2009 Kingfisher swimsuit special calendar promises to be an amalgam of sensuality and simplicity.
Are you ready to scorch your senses with the photographs of some of the most sensual 'femme fatales' of the world, one for each month of the year? If you still haven't guessed it, let me tell you that Kingfisher is all set to launch its calendar for the year 2009. So, you will soon be able to see the bold and beautiful beauties from around the globe adorn your walls, but only if you are one of the few lucky ones. Why? This is because the calendar will not be on sale. It will be sent by Vijay Mallya, directly, to a select few throughout the world.
2009 Kingfisher's calendar promises to be an electric mix of sensuality and simplicity. The visuals for the calendar are the work of none other the ace photographer Atul Kasbekar. He did the photo-shoot in Thailand's Six Senses Hideaway Resorts, with a potent mix of Indian and international beauties. On one hand, we will see India's Moni Kangana Dutta and Tamara Moss adorning the calendar, on the other will be international beauties like Katya Melnikova from Uganda and Mimi Blix from Norway.
According to Kasbekar, the images for Kingfisher's 2009 calendar are meant for a graphic layout, in which there will be two images per page. Shot amidst mesmerizing locales, the calendar promises to be exceptional combination of beauty, fashion and lifestyle. One look at it and you will feel as if your soul has entered a magical spa. The swimwear for 2009 calendar has tags of international brands like Alberta Ferretti, Jean Paul Gaultier and Diane von Furstenberg attached to it, while the accessories are by Lanvin and Fendi.
Vijay Mallya, Kingfisher Airlines Chairman, was found saying that he wanted the images for Kingfisher's 2009 calendar to have a sensual feel about them, yet retaining an understated elegance. The two main aspects, around which the entire photo-shoot was based, were simplicity and natural elements. Mallya further elaborated that, with Kingfisher Airlines going global, he felt that the right time had come to source some of the finest models from around the globe, for the 2009 calendar. Now, we just hope that we get a glimpse of the calendar real soon. What about you?
